The WreckMaster Training Program

WreckMaster offers a comprehensive training program focused on Incident Management and quick highway clearance. Since 1991 WreckMaster has focused it's efforts on providing the towing and recovery operator with the skills required to make them safe efficient and effective. Each WreckMaster training school consists of at least two days of towing and recovery training.

Each morning is spent in the classroom discussing theory, and each afternoon is spent in the field dealing with real-life situations.

WreckMaster graduates will carry a photo ID card that indicates their skill level.

Level 1

This course is presented in 1 day and includes both classroom and hands-on instruction. Specifically designed to cater to entry level operators, we highlight the basics in both towing and recovery. Many companies feel that this is a great class for dispatchers, sales staff, new operators or anyone requiring the basics.

Level 2/3

Students will learn Recovery, Resistance, Towing Cars/Trucks, Up-righting and Upsets, with or without wheels. They will discover just how much effort it takes to move a car using our attachment techniques, how to incorporate predictability and efficiency and most importantly they will gain confidence by understanding how to use their equipment safely and efficently.

Level 4/5

Now that you know the basics and have had some actual experience, operators will now gain the information required to successfully move vehicles from soft surfaces such as muddy ditches and embankments with grades. You will be taught in the classroom and experience hands-on training in the field by our top instructors.

Level 6/7

The career operator moves on to the next platform where the moving or up-righting of exotic, unusual, or loaded recoveries including end rolls are learned both in theory and in hands on training. You will be exposed to the newest and most efficient techniques taught today.

Currently being formatted. WreckMasters can look forward to mastering the art of difficult or delicate situations, regardless of the position, location, or circumstance.

Level A/C

This course explains the dynamics of using the assistance of air cushions to upright a loaded unit. You will learn how much force an air bag or air cushion can create, including high pressure and low pressure bags. In this class students will upright a van body trailer as well as a tanker, this provides a clear understanding of how different vehicles react in different environments.

Weeklong Training Program

At WreckMaster’s week-long training seminar, you will be exposed to the latest techniques that WreckMaster has to offer. You and your team can learn how to recover any upset rig using only one lane. If you love recovery, this will be one of the greatest weeks you’ve ever had in your life!
