Passenger Cars:

Car #1:

Late model 2 or 4 door. This must be prepared “environmentally friendly”. All fluids removed, engine, transmission/transaxle, cooling system and power steering. This vehicle will be rolled onto its roof for a recovery lesson.

FUEL TANK REMOVAL AND PURGING FUEL SYSTEM IS A MUST.

All glass to be removed, (for roll-over purposes and student safety.) The contents of the car must be cleaned.

The body condition of this vehicle is not very important. Student safety is the primary concern (sharp edges, etc.). The vehicle needs to have the tires inflated.

Car #2:

Late model 2 or 4 door aerodynamic type, with no body damage for recovery purposes. This car will be used to teach towing and recovery skills. We usually employ a student's car for this segment.

School Bus or Straight Body Truck

We prefer a school bus (30-40 passenger) in this level. Please have this prepared “environmentally friendly” and all tires inflated. This unit will be rolled onto it’s side to teach uprighting skills. Furthermore it will serve as an R/V. A straight truck/van body is acceptable, but no tankers or flatbeds.

It is expected that all equipment used be in Good Repair.

All equipment to be used MUST be in attendance for the duration of the seminar.
